Why SEO is so important?

If you are anyhow involved in online business word, especially in online rush to be visible among searches, than you probably heard of the simple three letters – S.E.O. Many people today talk about the importance of the good SEO, but how good you know what it is and why actually you need it? Today we are here to help you better understand one of the several factors that can lead to success in you online business.
What is SEO?
SEO is common abbreviation meaning Search Engine Optimization. It is a process of improving organic ranking in search engines such as Google or Bing. When we say a process, we mean it literally because there is no secret formula for fast and proven SEO. It is complex of many factors like relevant content, keywords, meta data, linking and etc.
In other words, SEO is a way to be founded when somebody searches for your product without giving any efforts on advertising. Easy right? Sadly, no.
The main reason why this process is not so much easy is very simple – you are not alone on the market with your product offer. We have McDonald’s and Burger Kinds burgers. If McDonald’s want to be in front of BK when somebody searches for burgers, they have to make sure they website is optimized so the search engine rank it higher.
What can I do about it?
There are two types of SEO – white hat (the good ones) and the black hat (the bad ones). White hat is SEO done by the rules (or guides by search engines). The black hat is shortcut using methods that are not approved, and often it can lead to lowering ranking or even losing any ranking.
Content is a king
Let us start from the beginning. People search for something in order to find information and solutions. Good content helps them not only to learn more about the problem, but to find solution too (and guess what – you have the solution!).
If the content is relevant, than your new friend is going to stick to your website and start trusting your information. Quality content is loved by users and search engines so much that they will promote it – users by sharing it with others and engines by giving it higher ranking.
So, we have the content and the website ready. What is missing? On-site SEO for sure. It includes well known meta title, descriptions and keywords, but it is much more than that.
We cannot talk about on-site without mentioning user-friendly links, menu structure, headers tags and even images alt text. And this is just the top of the iceberg.
Off-site SEO is also known as linkbuilding process – a process of gaining good links that are refereeing to your website. Goal is to get other websites pointing to yours, because each website has its own audience which maybe you couldn’t reach on your own, but with the simplest linkbuilding we have better reach and more audience.
But as we have the good way of SEO and the bad way of SEO, we have also the good way of getting link building and bad too. The good ones we all should aim for includes guest blog posting, creating link worth content, submitting to relevant web directories and etc.

Now when you understand that SEO actually works for you and your business, you know how it is important to start working on it, because:
a/ you are not the only one offering products/services in online world
b/ you need to reach your customers when they need (or search) for you
